What Colorado and Arizona Drivers Say About Scott’s Automotive and Tire

I brought my 2005 Ford Explorer into Scott’s Automotive for a loss of power problem. I did an AI search and of cost the cheapest possible fix, a fuel filter. I was on the right track but after a thorough inspection the mechanic found two problems. The EGR valve had a vacuum leak and there was a fuel pressure sensor malfunction. It wasn’t cheap but it’s been six days and there is no more loss of power issue especially going up a hill . I would like to say thanks to Zach the service advisor and the mechanic who did the work and showed care . The mechanic wasn’t satisfied with the results and kept digging. So I changed the plugs and wires. They picked up the cost of the wires. The reason I brought it to Scott’s in the first place was because another mechanic wouldn’t even look at it unless the check engine light was on, how unfortunate. The only issue I have with Scott’s was the cost. But an 2005 Ford Explorer with 255,000 on it I’m happy. Cheaper than a new or used car.

My fiancée has been a loyal Scott’s customer for years and I have become one now as well. On top of providing excellent service to our vehicles, they have great customer service and kind employees. We were recently in for some work that was taking some time and the office provided a private, comfortable space to feed our newborn which is incredibly hard to come by these days. If I could give 6 stars, I would!

I recently had an oil change at Scott's in Loveland. As always, they do thorough work and always keep me updated on what to look out for in the way of upcoming maintenance due to milage. I'll keep returning for my maintenance and any future problems. They take good care of their customers.

Our car needed an inspection for repairs so we brought it into Scott's Automotive. Unfortunately something came up and with the short notice we had to cancel our appointment shortly after dropping off our car. I was traveling with my family from out of town and was having engine issues. They ran a diagnostics and inspection and saw that my front brake pads were worn and needed to be replaced. They got me in that day and I was on the road by that evening. I was impressed with their customer service and prompt service of the vehicle. I would recommend Scott’s and would return again.

Great service first of all. In my opinion one of the best service advisors works here goes by the name Nick. He was punctual very respectful he went out of his way to make sure my schedule worked. I work nights and he made sure that everything was taken care of I dropped car off put keys in drop box and had the work done when i got up to go to work, All work was disclosed and all costs before work was started. I highly recommend these guys. I've never had service like these guys provide in the many years I've owned a car. So a big thanks to Nick and the guys at Scott's they are the epitome of an automobile service should be!

Emily is always courteous, kind and professional. She explained tire wear beautifully and that was greatly appreciated! Tim, who typically works in the Montrose shop, was friendly and helpful in explaining the shop’s tire purchase policy. I will be getting my tires there when the time comes. I had a number of necessary maintenance things done to a recent purchase of a gently used SUV. I felt confident in using Scott’s because the team there took the time to explain what was needed and answered all of my questions well. Knowing that the technicians have decades of experience between them was also helpful. It is great to have a car repair shop provide shuttle rides while repairs are done. Got an oil change it was awesome. Since I'm incredibly handsome often i get sexually harassed, but the employees were very professional and didn't even mention my impessive pecks and abs. So if you are chik with a handsome man like me, you can be assured they are safe.

This place does great work! And Nick knows me and my trucks and gets things done fast! There is always a ride home when I have to leave my truck and Nick always calls and keeps me updated on what is going on.

If I could give this place higher than 5 stars I would. I’m a traveling healthcare worker and started having issues a long ways away from home. No friends or family around to lend a ride or help. Scott’s was extremely friendly and helpful from the start. (Shoutout to Chris at the front deck for staying calm and not judging when I came in an emotional wreck) They got my car in same day to be looked at, identified the problem and I had it back in less than a week and at a price that didn’t make me rethink my life choices. Also the icing on the cake for me for them was when the rental car company didn’t have a vehicle available for me Scott’s had a loaner car they let me use. Calling this a lifesaver is an understatement because I’m in the area for work and I needed to make it to work and back while the car was being repaired. They also had a courtesy van and the man that gave me a ride to and from the shop before I knew I needed a rental was also amazing. If I could remember his name I’d mentioned it as well. This place really came through for me and erased all the anxiety I felt around having car trouble. I can’t thank them enough! I’ll be using them as long as I’m in the area for work for sure.

Chris did a great job keeping us in the loop on what was going on with our vehicle. Pricing ect as we had to drop for a diagnosis but had to go down to grand junction for an appointment. Such a helpful guy and we really appreciate his help. We have never used Scott's before but will surely use them again for our families vehicles needs. A++

I am always a bit hesitant to look for mechanics other than the mechanic at the dealership simply because there are so many variables that Make up a good automotive shop And Mechanic and I don’t know any of them. I know that you want to pay for what you’re getting however, most of the time when you look for someplace outside of the makers dealership, you are hoping for a Light price reduction and labor as well as overall cost. The mechanics at Scott seemed extremely well studied as well as well worked every person that I spoke to from the Front Desk people to the mechanics seem to have a really good understanding of My vehicle, which is a Volkswagen Tiguan. Overall, the labor cost was still pretty steep, which I believe maybe due to the fact that it’s a specialty automotive shop specifically for German cars, which is very important to do when you have one of these vehicles many mechanics think they may know how to work on German vehicles, but they do not have learned the hard way So overall, I paid the slightly cheap labor fees got my parts that I needed cheaper than what I thought I was going to an overall just a really good experience from the Customer Service to the work they did. I would definitely recommend this shop and I will continue to go there.

Adrian and the rest of the guys are so friendly, tentative, knowledgeable, inexpensive and well experienced. I sincerely recommend these guys. We traveled from California on a road trip and we will always come here whenever we have car issues while visiting Arizona.

In the 46 years that I have owned a car and have had to use several auto shops, including dealers, Scott's Automotive @ 7th St & Camelback is by far the absolute BEST!! From the 1st phone call to the 1st appointment, to them helping me solve a small fuel leak that I have had for at least 3 years!! When I first smelled "acetone" 3 years ago, I went to the dealer and they said nothing was wrong. I went to 3 other shops over the 3 years because when its hot out, the fuel leak gave off a prominent acetone smell, yet I still got, "we cant find anything..its all in your head". The tech @ Scott's found the leak. The wonderful female service advisor ordered the part (for $1K less than what it would notmally cost!) and arranged to give me a ride home (or I could have had a loaner car..which normally only happens at a dealer...thank you Scott's for being so custer oriented). They fixed the leak and arranged to pick me up. The entire process was sooooo easy. The estimated time it took to fix was spot on. I have had so many shops say it will take about 2 hours and 7 hours later they arent finished. This is the most organized, best shop I have ever been to. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable experience!

I got a postcard flyer in the mail from Scotts. I held onto it knowing I was going to need it at some point. I took my car to get some work done and they found way more wrong with it than I could have ever imagined. It wasn’t a sales ploy, because the car is a 2009 with a ton of miles. Jessica was so personable, friendly and kind. She explained to me what they found and what was needed. Ultimately, it was more to do than what the car is worth even on a good day, so I did not get any work done. Having said that I will be going back because they were absolutely amazing. If I could give way more than five stars I would thank you - thank you.

AC replacement, compressor, condenser and expansion value. Great Price with Great customer service and support. Even Uber to and from so I didn't have to wait 6 hrs. Awesome experience!! Jessica kept me updated every step and I will be back for any additional repairs. My AC is working like new!!

My husband recommended I take my car into Scott’s to have some maintenance things taken care of. I’m so glad he did! Staff there is friendly. Jessica is who I mainly interacted with annd Adam is who I talk to on the phone. Adam was professional and helpful. The facility is clean, they offer hot coffee, water, or sodas to drink while waiting for your vehicle to be serviced. What sold me me is the communication about my vehicle. I appreciate the detailed list of how my car is doing and estimates on costs to have maintenance done for things are in needed to be serviced. They also have a GREAT DEAL on oil changes. They use a punch card system. Anyone in the family can use the punch card to get an oil change. The oil change is cheaper than taking it to Jiffy Lube. I feel good knowing I found a place I feel comfortable doing maintenance on my car. I am already recommending family and friends to take their cars there if and when needed.
